Default Cheap series 1

My mate bought a series 1 a couple of weeks ago and he wanted to use it often, but after a few problems like a few knackered parts and a suposed small fire he has given up on it and bought another mint one which he doesnt have to spend time restoring so he has offered it me for around £800, ive not seen it yet and will update this thread later this week but is it worth the £800 he wants for it? thanks people

It would break for more than that even if it's rotten probably, unless its a right shed, so go for it

Depends on what it's like mate - if the kit, trim etc are OK then it'll break for sensible money but if it's trashed................

just been to see it and its obviously not mint,

needs new valves and possibly a turbo,
needs a new floor its got a hole in it,
small paint jobs like little scabs and a dent a few chips etc,
the seats aint too bad needs new bolster on passenger + tiny little tear,
cracked dash,

so now im stuck it obviously needs the work doing on it and im still intrested but its the time and effort but i do need a new project, im STUCK!

Engine with fooked turbo - £150
Interior/Seats (need bolster) - £150
dash (with cracks) - £25 / (no cracks) - £50
Clocks (working) - £10
Wheels (not too curbed) - £150 / (mint) £250
Bodykit (top condition) - £150 / (shabby condition) £60
Spoiler (top condition) £75 / (shabby condition) - £20
Doors/tailgate (mint) £25 each / (shabby) £5 each

So thats (best case scenario) £910 / (worst case) £580
