Right chap form talking to the guy at work on this subject the othr week.
The camera must be signed before the site (Not applicable if handheld trap). You can request to see the calibration certificate from the device that caught you. You can request to see the picture from the incident so you can assist the robbing bastards in identifuying the driver. If the image is at all vague you can say you have asked everybody that could have driven the vehicle on this date but saddly to no avail to identify the driver. You have then taken every reasonable action to identify the driver and you are very sorry but you can offer no further help on the matter.
Claim the car was for sale and the chap test driving it must have done it. his name was:
Freddie Kruger
17 Elm Street
Or at least that's what he told you
Try www.abd.org.uk as there are links there that may help you out

I'm afraid the need for a sign warning you of the presence of the camera is not a legal requirement and the failure of the camera operator to display a sign does not mean that the evidence from the camera of you speeding is inadmissable in court.
If you can be bothered, have a look at the forum on Pepipoo for the full low down:

I got zapped the other week and the guys on Pepipoo have been a real help. See my post here:

No chris i wasnt in the 16i, but as said i dont want to be admitting to a dodgy speedo.
Oranoco i'm in stitch's reading some of them , the one i came up with was i was pissed up in the pub and somebody offered to drive me home, aint got a clue who he/she was
Why dont the mobile camera vans have to bright yellow like the fixed gatso's? i've not decided what to tell em yet although some of the above are favourites
