Fully agreed, why should they get away with that?
Unless of course thats jealousy.
I personally hope they all get done and meet 'Big Barry' in the prison showers regularly.

The people that have been arrested will only be "cannon fodder" mate, just to throw the law off the scent!

If they can steal 53 Million pounds then they're not dumb enough to get caught within the week!

They didn't hurt anybody, they didn't kill anybody, and they quite easily could have made an 'example' of someone to scare the rest. Admittedly, it's a bit rough to involve an 8-year-old, but everybody has their price, and 53 million is my price for doing that.

Good Luck to them.

Sorry if that offends anyone, but I have a lot of respect for anyone with their sheer balls and ingenuity. I wish I'd thought of it.

I dont think anyone's disagreeing that putting a gun to someones head is fooked up (especially a child).

I've had a gun pulled out on me 3 times over the years working the door's & also seen a couple of mates (doormen) shot & killed so i know how it feels.

Part of me thinks like the movies and thinks, cool they didnt physically hurt anyone and they got the cash away.

Then I think, FVCK if that had been my family and now my child isn't willing to leave the house and is mentally scared to the point they cant work again or feel safe in there own house... which is clearly what ACTUALLY happened... then I think. CVNTS shouldn't have done it at all.

Are you some sort of a cunt ?

How would you feel about being pulling over on your way home from work and kidnapped by armed raiders, then this group of people going to your home and kidnapping your wife and child huh ??? If you this kind of action is acceptable then your only a few steps behind the low life scum that actually took part in this raid.

They dont deserve any respect for what they did and the way they did it, if you think that they had "balls" and "ingenuity" you need to meet some real people who have battled for their lifes or overcome impossible difficulties in their lifes, not the type of scum that pull a gun on a mans wife and 8 yr old kid for money

Just un an entirely un-related note, does anyone know where there's a large amount of cash stored in a poorly-guarded depot?

Just curious. I'm errrr. taking a survey. Yes.

I do know people like that. Due to family jobs, I have met, and am friends with people who have pulled themselves up from incredible depths. I agree. Takes guts.

But it *is* ingenuity. The planning and execution of something like that couldn't be done without a brain, and an ability to see things as 'you can do them', not as you'd like to do them. That particular trait seperates us poor from the filthy rich. And if you think it doesn't take bollocks, I suggest you try it. Takes a gutsy person to even think about it.

Look at it this way, and don't just shout me down : If someone offered you Ł53 million pounds to kidnap three people, you wouldn't do it? I bet you'd at the very least have to think about it...

No it takes more bollocks to go out and earn yourself a living the honest way, than to go around stealing whats not yours.

I can honestly answer that i wouldnt even think about kidnapping someone, not for 50p or Ł50 million, its just not in my nature. If i want something i work for it, if i cant afford it by working for it then i dont have it ........ simple really.

But taking the job such high up in the ranks at a security firm involves taking such big risks to you and your family that might come into the equation if you the need comes around. I don't think they were out to kill anyone, they were just out to show force and willing to get their hands on millions of pounds!

I'm not taking their side or anything but bloody hell they must have had some proper brass bollox to pull off a job like that with such precision and organisation that they raided the warehouse of millions!

BUT

it's only takes one grass to blow the lot!....................................

I cannot understand the wellwishers
If an armed gang had stolen an RS500 using the same methods they would have been universally condemned on here yet because it was a shitload of cash that somehow makes it acceptable to hold a mother and child hostage at gunpoint.

They had guns there for a reason 1.) for force 2.) to escape if things go wrong. Make no mistake if they had planned this so well(as you all seem to think), they had covered the possiblity of shooting someone if things went wrong. Yeah there real hero's for stealing alot of money arent they

American guy summed it up on tv first day it happened.. Criminals like this are nothing but greedy and stupid. They'll all be caught soon enough. Bet alot of the money is recovered as well. Getting rid of 50 million in cash most of it traceable is fking hard to do these days.

Can't believe some people actually posted they hoped they get away with it.. the mentality of some of you. Like cam said. If someone posted a load of guys nicked your cossie or scratched your paintwork or nicked your fking aerial you'd all be screaming murder..

Your not getting the point Andy.........

if you read i have said their actions were NOT forced from any other direction other than the persons involved in the heist in Kent....

If they did made a situation out of hurting/injuring/killing someone this would have brought about a different equation, maybe that of murder in the first degree for example......I'm not saying what the gang did was morally right but the attension to themselves before it was needed wasn't part of the plan.....Thye were greedy and vein and just out for the unmarked banknotes....

What I like about this is the acheivement, it's something that took a strong will, brass balls, and a very clever bloke. I'm not saying it's a nice thing to do, far from it, but think about it :

People get stabbed for their wallet contents, sometimes less, every day.
Armed robberies worldwide involve fatal shootings for less than 1% of Ł52mil
Petty criminals beat up homeowners for the price of a fenced Samsung
People get beaten up on Saturday night just because someone had a bit too much to drink

And they went in there and pulled off Britain's largest cash theft ever, Ł53 million quid, without leaving a mark, in this day and age. That's why I think it's impressive. And that's why a large part of me hopes they get away with it.

What the hell is impressive about it? all they did was kidnapped the managers wife and son and then used them to make the manager open the locked doors so they could get the money. There's nothing impressive in what these people did, the fact that they stole 50 million in cash (something that any sensible ie not stupid and greedy criminal wouldnt do) which most of it is traceable new notes show's they arent that bright. Laundering money is VERY hard these days and stealing that much in new notes is daft.

Still can't believe people are saying hope they got away with it.. hope your car never gets nicked because obviously if thats an impressive crime you'll hope they get away with it too. The mentality of some people
