Mk5 escort indicator stalk.....
i know they are shite and common fault,but are they repairable or is it bin time? dash lights and back lights stopped working

i have taken them apart and cleaned the contacts,but they only seem to work for a short time afterwards 
pattern parts are not too expensive now,and the time taken to repair them is not cost effective
