Default Pinhole in the top of the fuel regulator? (EFi RST)

Was looking at a customer's EFi FRST today and noticed a pinhole that looks like its been purposely put there in the top of the fuel regulator. Now i rememeber someone mentioning something about this before - What does it mean or do? Cheers

If its a small hole in the circular cap then it would have been put there to aid removal of the cap that covers the adjuster
