contesting speed gun evidence ?
Sure I read somewhere that if the equipment wasn't calibrated the same day then you have a chance the evidence is not admissable in court, if this is the case when and how do you go about finding out ? Any advice welcomed, anyone actually tried this ?

BE careful, if you have been done by traffic cops their evidence in court can simply be "In their professional opinion/judgement you were speeding" enough to get you nicked along side any measuring device which is being questioned as to accuracy...

Was the gun an LTi 20-20 if so they are famously inaccurate. A magistrates desk was clocked at 3mph in court once.

I kid you not there was a big story on the BBC website about it all. May even be a link to the story on Pepipoo.
Even the plod know the gun is crap but when you try and argue they will tell you it's a faultless piece of equipment incapable of making an error
