England captain David Beckham has admitted that he finds six-year-old son Brooklyn's homework too tough to tackle.
In an interview for the Mail On Sunday's Live magazine, he said he has to turn to wife Victoria for help with Brooklyn's maths.
"Their homework is so hard these days," said the soccer star.
"It's done totally differently to what I was teached when I was at school."
He said that when Brooklyn turned to him for help recently, "I was like, 'Oh my God, I can't do this'".

But, he is still a dipshit.
At the moment he is a good footballer who is rich but is a dipshit. In 10 years time, he will just be a rich dipshit.

But, as with lots of different aspects of being famous, certain things cause laughs for people.
Personally, having seen documentaries about the Beckhams, I can't stand the guy. Just like I can't stand Jordan.
Someone doesn't have to be academically clever, common sense goes an awfully long way, but he appears to have neither.

I think he is sound(Apart from when he played for the red shite)
Met him once in Stratstone in Wilmslow and he was totally normal....Very polite and well mannered and with time for everyone........There was a bloke there with his kids and Beckham kept them entertained for ages playing keepie up with a screwed up piece of paper....
Didn`t seem like a "div" to me.....

Remember that this quote was about his inability to do homework set for his 6-year-old son, and his use of the word 'teached'.
If someone comes on here with such a display of poor spelling or grammar, they are soon busted for it. Why should Beckham escape?
Sky saw fit to write a story about it, so don't shoot the messenger.

Having said that the Beckham story does appear to be the classic "build em up to knock em down" Our tabloids are so keen on doing. It has no real relevence to a) his ability to kick a ball around a pitch. Or b) His ability to interact with society.

I also have the same opinion of people who are very clever academically but have the common sense of a wheelie bin.
There are an awful lot of those in the world.

I like Beckham, with him what you see is what you get (OK, intelligence wise maybe not alot) but unlike alot out there he doesn't profess to be anything that he's not. He also knows he is where he is today because of his feet. He's level headed and has done extrememly well for himself. Dipshit maybe, but at least he's aware of his shortcomings.
I have alot of time for him. I'd like to kick his poxy Mrs straight between the legs though.......
can't stand her................

OK - the acid test question then...........
Would you swap places with him ? Maybe not be the brightest but have his life, money, cars etc ? I'm not saying actually be 'him' but have his talent and as some seem fit to deem his 'lack' of intelligence for his millions and lifestyle ?
Bet you would.............so maybe he isn't that stupid after all eh ?

But will he have the common sense to do something sensible with his wealth when he retires???
Otherwise in his forties he'll be yet another broke ex-football star doing cheesy TV adverts to make ends meet.

he might not be the cleverest bloke in the world but he has worked foookin hard to get his money. u might think that a footballer has the easiest job in the world but if u think of how much strain and stress he puts his body thru every week. and the amount of shit he gets off the tabloids, i think 100k a week is cheap really for the hassle the fella must get.
