Default Electrical experts....Another question....

Might sound daft but....

What is the best way to supply mutilple (3x) ignition feeds from the ignition switch???

As far as i can remember, the ignition switch has 1 output switched wire (yellow IIRC), so what is the accepted way of expanding this?

A relay?

or is that overkill....

A relay would be the correct way, but what sort of current are we talking? If it's just for your neon washer jets then you should be OK.

Anything much bigger wants to be through a relay. And don't forget to fuse the main feed to the relay next to the battery

do a 3 way connection, join one to each for the control pins for the two relays and the other direct to the ecu. The current for the relay control is minimal and the ecu only takes 5amps i think (its fuse rating is given in the manual)
