Industrial water cooling/refrigeration ?
Anyone on here have any inside knowledge on industrial water cooling ?
Looked on the web but no one wants to give out prices on their website !
Here are some technical requirements ....
Looking for a packaged solution with delivery pump and water header
tank to provide around 11 litres per minute @ 2.5 to 3.0 bar.
Max ambient to coolant differential of 10 degrees C
Single or 3 phase mains powered.
Water cooling range required 15 Deg C minimum, 30 Deg C Maximum.
Normal dissipation is around 10 to 15 kilowatts of heat.
Thought about building something up from a big car radiator and a big
3 phase mains fan and a 3 phase centrigufal pump using a central
heating header tank.
Any sensible ideas people ?
Before anyone suggests it - It has NOTHING to do with engine dyno's
Thanks

Simon,
Coolmation are probably the best people to deal with as an end user....if you can satisfy your process with an air blast system it wont be that expensive you could easily spec a header tank, pump and pipework to suit....a 15 kW water chiller, on the other hand i'd expect to pay £2 - 3K new...the compressor, evaporator, condenser, pump, tank and controls take the price up.....

sibster,
Air blast sounds good !
Bugger, Now I know why the peice of equipment I bought was so cheap.
In my ignorance, I thought providing a cooling source would be a
piece of piss (I.E. cheap)
All was looking good until the bit mentioning the price
Will get a proper quote tommorrow but I suspect its gonna be a case
of bodge it and scarper.
Oh well, which car has the biggest radiator
