Carbon Fibre
Just wondering, i have been told its just the same pricipal as fibre glass, and fancied making some things out of it, as i have in fibre glass. is the same and any experiances/suppliers of materials?

They sell most of the stuff you need. Most important thing is you need some sort of manual press or vacuum press to form the carbon.
I've found quite a few articles on making stuff before i'll have a look for some of them when i get a chance

It's not quite like fibreglass, I made a few part's for my YZ125 out of carbon fibre before and it was a bit difficult to get it right. It takes you to either buy a book or read up on the net about it before going into practical aspect's.

tells you eveything you need to know from knocking stuff up in your garage to full on industrial methods. Really good book. As for doing it, just little home projects then carbon and glass manufacturing is pratically the same!
