CossieRich where did i mention Chip? ..I will now though Chip DOES know what he is talking about re the NOS and the system he told Rod to use was just too much..not his fault not Rods fault not Marks fault...I understand before the old NOS system at 200 shot gradually faded after first push and the new one doesnt str8 200 shot all the way.....So IMO MAD listened to an outside influence..a bit like listening to me and doin it Not a dig just an observation.I mean who possibly ISNT thinking that NOS was just too much and found out the YB's limit.

we note & take in all those suggestions but can i add :
This engine is now 150bhp past its design Spec & its demise was sure to happen. If it had completed that run it would have been refreshed for future sale.
The mods that Mark will now make will take account of the new levels we have reached.
The crank will be returned to its manufacturer, (did you really believe this was not happening) but we expect no probs .
The pistons were never going back in despite being OK. The new set are already on the shelf at MAD awaiting this day & the rods will be checked.
MAD has always put his engines to the test, while others just talk about how good their engines are, we stand & fall by what we achieve, perhaps others should do the same.
The decision to up-grade the Nitrous system was mine, Mark has never been involved with that, he just tries to make sure it all hangs together . It was its first run following mods suggested by WON & it rather exceeded our expectations . We doubled the size of the petrol jet & Injector duty went from 92% to 100%, Mark suggested this must be Horses gained & boy was he right, cant wait to tame that lot.
