Default Coilover question?

In the future im looking to replace the koni suspension on my 3dr.

And the question i have is ....do you have to strengthen the rear turrets
on a 3dr to be able to cope with coilover suspension?

Cheers mark

It is advisable to strenghten the rear turrets on 3 Doors and early Saffys when fitting coilovers,A fairly simple "L" shaped strap on the inside of the turret to the boot floor will help to stiffen it and i would always fit a rear strut brace as well.....

is this the case with 4x4's too (late saff)

may be getting a rear brace soon, will totally ruin the useability of the boot though
