You'll need all that extra power to lug all that extra weight around .

Like certain aspects of it, but not the ICE, as that's not my thang, but understand why it has to have it for a magazine car.

I'm just glad you didn't go for the rumoured gullwing doors .

Engine pic for those who might not have seen it.

I would show one of it fitted, but it's not much to look at at the mo as there's still a bit of tarting up to do under the bonnet.

It made a true 580 Reyland horses by the way. As as we all know, Martin's horses are often bigger and stronger than those bred by other stables

Lovely install, and the graphics are well suited but i still preferred it in the old colours, i think it really worked well, but as you have said before, each to their own!

Bit too 'Max Power' for me.............doesn't need all the sound gear and whatnot in there. Skyline's are about performance and handling - if all anyone was going to do was fill it with stereo should have bought a Saxo.

Not one for me.

Engine sounds very interesting, rest of it isnt really to my personal taste in terms of what i would want a skyline for (ie performance not posing) but all looks very well done

Loving the glowing manifold picture

That power seems very low for a GTR was this the hp you were aiming for,
What was the torque also, Wiil buy the mag on the way home
Is there a graph also.

It's a very genuine power figure. There's more bullshit in the Skyline tuning world than you could imagine... Will be interesting to see what it gets on the rollers and performance times for such a heavy and 'low powered' car. I wouldn't mind betting it will be quicker than many cars with far higher claimed power figures - despite the weight of everything we've added. Time will tell.

Asside from those top line figures, we've got lots of power and torque fairly early in the rev range compared to some Skyline plots I've seen.

Martin still has all the dyno printouts, we'll be putting all that stuff and performance figures in a later issue of the mag.

looks good from the outside

not a fan of screen in front of passenger, looks stuck on, and big screen in roof looks silly. boot looks cool tho

driver seat looks like someone has made a poor job of trimming it to me

loving the glowing manifold

Even with the ICE, with 580bhp and torque to match it still going to be fast as fuck!!!

Renton's got the BMW cossie and shares a track cossie as well so if he wants to put loads of ICE in his road car then fair play to him!

Alot of work gone into it, no doubt and it looks a top notch job - but it also looks like it's done a ram raid on Halfords.

I agree about the BS figures. A real 550-600bhp GTR makes for a lovely road car but many who claim that sort of power are lucky to break the 500hp mark.
I am into ICE but just the bare minimum required but the install in yours looks wicked
The front splitter will take a real hammering with the loooow rideheight..lol
How was it getting the Pectel to interact with the GTRs various 4wd/4ws gismos?

If its a Reyland 560 bhp,, that prolly means 700 in real world

and 1400 in the pub

looks nice!
I saw the other one once or twice in bath i think
(or is it the same car that did the gumball?!!)
