Default windscreen fluid

i have a fiesta and the other day i topped it up with a bottle of windscreen fluid and water and now i get a strong wiff of windscreen fluid when i clean the windscreen. I done as it said on the bottle 1 part of windcreen fluid to 2 parts water any ideas

just a thing on old cars mate the air that comes in through the vents comes from top of the bonnet and u just get a wiff of it shut the vents if it bothers u that much and it shud either go away or get alot less pungent

i reckon thats about right

i would understand mate but its a fiesta st thats why im concerned as it wasnt doing it before also it makes my eyes water thats how strong the smell is

try an air freshner then mate bout all i can think of unless the bottle is still in ur car then i aint sure mate

try diluting the washer fluid a bit more once its gone down a little.

suggest you try a different smelling washer fluid. Or even one that doesnt smell.

I always get that in my Fiesta but the pink ready to use one from Halfords smells quite nice !!!!! Not overpowering though. Sure it wasn't comcentrate and you were supposed to mix it with water before putting in ?
