The only diff between the two are:
Badge
Interior (gti has half leather)
Bodykit
And Gti has its bump strips painted
Wheels (some Si's has diamond shape ones)

Thats all I can think of, all machanical is the same

mate dont just post stuff if your not sure, ask questions or say your not 100% as people will think your just talking bollocks

so far ive seen you say you need 60k to get 700 brake from a supra, you get chatter at full throttle and you can get 500 brake from a 1.6 rst.

Bit of advice engage brain then type

I have spent a fortune on my Si sig has old figures and the last figure I got on a rolling road was:

157.9 @ the fly

120.8 @ the wheels

149.5 ft lb

The spec is:-

Kent 1802 cams & vernier pulleys
Ashley 4-2-1 manifold with de-cat
Power boost valve
K&N Induction kit
Banshee induction S/S pipe
Magnex exhaust
2ltr Throttle body
Mapped evolution chip by MSD
And I run it on Shell Optimax

Big thanks to Chris Richie (Filthyrich) & Stu/Kenny at MSD

But I was told that it needs a re map to the new mods that have been fitted (manifold, de cat & T/B) as it was mapped about 2 year ago now, and the operator said it could have got a little more but had a couple of dips in the graphs

So Im off to MSD on Wed 22 feb to get it checked out

Sounds a good spec but you can never tell what to expect as it all depends on it being a good engine to start with, it needs to be set up right with all the mods working well, a tuner would be able to give more input on this as Im no expert on engine setup's and what power they could kick out

Chill out mate, most people are just messing around cause of the wacky figures you quoted. Steve (Itsmeagain) does know his stuff and can be blunt, but will never bullshit you where engines are concerned

I think you can get 200bhp from the 2.0 Zetec but it does take some investment. Ask Dan off here (fudgeass) as he had a wicked 2.0 mk6 Escort running similar power. You'd be looking at cams, new management/remap, filter, exhaust system including manifold, throttle bodies, and probably some stuff I've forgotten.

But I love Escorts too and have considered similar ideas in the past, but just can't afford to implement them!

Good luck with yours though mate, I really hope you get what you want out of it and I'm sure with a bit more research and some investment and dedication, you'll finish up with a good motor
