Default Rallying or Drifting, what do you reckon

Just about done the 3dr ready to drift to bits, only diff to buy but have chance of a lovely mk1 escort cossie to rally. Reasonably priced, so do i buy it and rally that or learn to drift mine (pics in projects under Wixsy's drift 3dr) then buy a stonking engine for it. Decisions decisions. What do you reckon!!!

It would be tarmac stage rallying, the biggest pain would be my old man rallys a gp4 mk2 escort and he is Mr Serious and i suppose we'd be rallying together all the time

Drifting takes skill, no question. However to a good rally driver, drifting is a piece of piss he does in his spare time to amuse the kids

Well every pro race driver (lots of touring and single seat drivers so far) in the UK thats tried to compete so far has got totally whupped so i wouldnt be so sure on that mate...

Even though theres a lot more sideways in rallying than track racing, i still dont think your right.

IMO if you got the money do rallying, but it costs a whole fuckload more, esp if you wanna compete rather than just be an also ran.
