Default super bikes

IF theres a dent (very small one near the bottom where the tank sits) in the frame is that classed as a write off?

It would probably write the bike off as replacing the frame is a costly job especially on an older bike.

Doesn't mean there is anything wrong structually with the frame though but I would advise getting it checked by an engineer.

the bike has obviously been down the road some time (now repaired and CANT really see the dent) bike ISN'T on the register I was just curious as to whether the frame would be abit weaker maybe!

Unlikely tbh, especially if the dent is that small.

What bike is it? Got a picture?

Pretty common for the beam frame Gixer's to do that when they go down.

It's just the impact from the clip on, a few bikes always do it when they go down.

Shouldn't have caused any serious damage but again, worth getting it looked at and maybe putting on a jig to make sure.
