Well.......... off she goes!
Yesterday, someone off the board (I'll let him tell ya) came and picked up the saff.
So after having the car so nearly complete, it was a real shame to see it go, but am I glad I didn't drive it - I'd have never sold the thing!
Bit of an end of an era for me really - first time in 6 years I haven't owned a cossie of some description. Shame to see it go though, as it's eaten up countless amounts of cash, plenty of spare time, and basically took over my life for a while. Hence why it had to go...
Also can take this opportunity to thank people who helped me out with the car over the years:
Brom, Mike R, Rob@SCC and Pat and Matthew, Lee@Fusion, Ima, Stu@MD and anyone else.
Also thanks to Mike R, Neil S, and Porkie for listening to me complaining and offering some good advice.
Wont be around on here so much anymore as I've gone Jap (and seen the light
) but will stll be doing trackdays when and where I can.
Best of luck to Mark with the project - he fully intends to rag the shit out of it, track it and go drifting with it, so at least it'll get used properly!
