Default Problem

When accelarating over say qtr throttle the car will pull right and the steering wheels will go left and the reverse wil happen when letting off the throtle again. This is most noticible on motorways. Could this be track rod ends?? or coul it be that i have two different tyres on the front??

this on a fiesta btw.

cheers for any input, ive already got some track rod ends and will be fitting them tomorrow. Also have some wheels with matching tyres to try tomorrow aswell , just wanted to hear your thoughts on thisincase it cud be something i aint thought of

Deffo track rod ends mate. Cheap to buy & easy to change (count how many turns it takes to take the old one's off & tighten the new one's on the exact same number of turns) then get your tracking checked just to be on the safe side

Just wobble the (road) wheel and look for play in all the joints...

cheers for input guys, fingers crossed its the track rod ends. It cant be anything else really as the lower arms are new as are the cv joints (not that theyd effect it) and i did have vibratec mounts on but i snapped the front one so thats a brand new std one now.

Not only possibly track rod ends.

This happened in my 3i and cause was one of the anti roll bar bushes popped out of it's housing. under any throttle the steering wheel was at 90deg to the left to keep it in a straight line, and off throttle it was at 90deg to the right to keep in straight line....
