Anyone else note the prices of 3dr's are now in the 6k bracket?Seen one on here HPI clear at 4.5k.It seems they are the only ones dropping,escorts remain the same and sapphires also.Why is this,i always thought the 3dr was the one to own.

Some may be dropping just to sell them quicker, just like any other car that needs to be sold.

Trying to sell cosworths to a very limited market does not help either.

But the guy selling it has high lighted the problems it has, so maybe in the end when it's mint like a 7-8k (if it is really ) one you'd have spent the same

all I can say is go and waste your time and hard earnt cash on fuel looking at trhese fine examples,They will be scrap

your right there pete, people see one for say 4k don't realise its a dog but think the mint one at say 5.5k is well overpriced because of the cheaper one.

one of the reasons i stopped selling cars to public and now just trade them, too many idiots coming down trying to barter by showing me an ad of say a vectra that had done 90k more than mine but then querying why mine was 400 quid dearer

As others have said Good 3 Doors still fetch top money thats if there not desperate to sell
Ive looked at about 15 in my time and owned 2 both good ones not mint but bloody good and had no trouble selling them on
