Prefer Ron Kidel's car to Keith Cowie's really, Keith's is awesome but Ron's is more of a road car, and far far better looking IMO

Can't believe the Corolla does the Lemon though!

hi sunny!
the fwd crowd werent as strong as at totb uk, you dont have any worries on that score just yet!

most of the fwd were civics etc, but we also got a girl with a supercharged mini, and none were that quick straight line. handling wasnt bad from them tho!
we had to run at just 700m for top speed, but the track people are building on a full top speed run and a tarmac circuit for next year, they have a great venue there.

the track wasnt ideal for the Jun Lemon, way too tight and twisty, it never came on boost. i was lucky enough to go up the strip with Mick in it, and its mega quick once it comes on boost. real privelage (sp?) to get a go in such a famous car.
the fensport car is one of my faves, and is a proper allrounder, ie 10s 1/4s, 200mph top speed and great handling and brakes. adrian can also drive it hard, and it spools up ok for sprints.

It just goes to prove that it is not as easy as everyone thinks.
It also does not look like it is using a 2 step launch control to help build
some boost on the line.

Hi Dan

Ron K is not that far away from a sub 9's i have a good bit more top end trap speed.
i cant wait to try the new engine spec and run with the right ET Drag tyres.
So far i have been using the M/T radials.

Sorry but with consistent terminal speed's of 158 / 160 MPH
and with the right drag tyres a 8's is not that far away.

if keiths car can 60ft and run 160mph then 8.70's will result, I only know a little about drag cars though.

yes but I been around drag cars long enough to know when to be realistic he'd need to run a 1.28 or quicker 60ft to run that time and also take into account for gear shifts.
