New engine wont run till the C.A.T.S. ring has been coded via WDS ford dealer im afraid

Although you can change the pump over from your old engine and she will run fine just seems a lot of undue work.

Regards Doug.

seem ford have got me by the balls, they wont sell the tool needed to change the pump, would only be a half hour job if had the coorect tool, dont fancy removing the timing change just to change the pump.

They HAVE to supply the tool to change the pump due to block exemption regulations.

Ford will sell it you even if the dealer won't. You may have to be in the motor trade though.

The equipment to code the pump is about 6 or 7 grand as it does all the diagnostics as well.
