Things will go pear shaped IMO from now on if this is the way it stays, I have just been on for half an hour and I cant get away with it.

I cant put my finger on it Eagle, I think it is cause when I logged on I liked a bit of variation , car banter and other stuff mixed all into one room, it just doesnt seem as good and I ve only been on half an hour, I bet the GD rooms quiet right down now compared to what they are usually like

Was a good mix all together and nice and busy.
I know the site is as busy but i liked it in the one room, where there was always a different reply to read or reply to.

Don't like it either - like to scan through ALL the topics, now got to flick between rooms. 
Also think it just splits the 'community' here up ! IHMO anyway And you used to know where most people are hanging out - sure one room will become dormant

Don't like it either, I like the car side, but the social chat is pretty good aswell, I think you loose that this way . The "atmosphere" if you can get that on the net lol, is gone

U see what Im getting at, we all know the ones that post funny E Mails n that and occasionally talk about cars, and Rod n people who only like to talk about Tech Essays n that, which is fair enough but the problem is gonna be that u are splitting the whole lot up just because people cant be bothered to look at thread titles they dont wanna see! I mean no one forces u to click on the thread and read it do they, I personally dont like Rod going on about Brunters

Just u wait and see Kop, we cant all be wrong now can we, I understand u were one of the peeps who wanted this room and I respect that but Im telling u it may work but PF will be worse of cause of it, all because u lot didnt wanna sift through any non car banter.
The explanation of the old GD room used to say summit along the lines of any topic as long as it aint offensive n that.

I can TOTALLY understand WHY they have done it, but I don't like really again i liked the mix of everything in the one room, although if it stays like this I SUPOSE i can learn to live with it

think the muppet one has proven itself well
so you want us to put everything thatrs not car related in the muppet room ???
the banter is good in here but ... you put a post up and in under 30 minutes it can be banished to page 2 with out any problems .. so then you have to look in page 2 then page 3 etc etc .. time consuming ...
this way you know that there is a room dedicated for car related stuff and this one for everything else ..
i have been running 2 pages all day and can honestly say it has not made my job any harder .. or reading the posts that have been put up...

I gotta agree atm the min i dont like it at all! I worried PF will lose it community feel too! But i dont mind putting up with it for a week or two, too see how it goes
