How do you distinguish different heads off of different engines? Obviously each head has a casting mark/number printed on it. But which numbers are important. Say a 1.6 escort, the head off my xr3i has 1.6bra casted on it, ive seen what is advertised as rst heads with the same casted onto them, so would this mean the two heads are identical? or is it a different casting mark that makes all the difference?
