how'd you catch a rat??????????
got a fooking rat in my kitchen, dam it
needs to be humannly, cant kill it, misses wont have non of that, + just try to stamp on the fucker, think ive broken my foot
tryed forcing the cats under the kitchen units, but they aint having non of it, lazys spuds
Tho the rabbit seems to be up for the kill its got well involved under the units
any crazy ideas , rat shit everywhere under the units, joys of home ownership

We had mice in our kitchen, we got em with a tall rubbish bin with dog food in the bottom, The Mice managed to get in but couldnt get back out.

wont be a rat they dont leave shit ... so its gonna be mice..
but yeah ring council they will come out and place poison down free of charge.. what i had to do recently , but now the fookers cant get in since ive had the builders in and fixed the hole they was using

Best bet is has been said, bin with food in the bottom or a live catch trap.
Tell the missus to button it and kill the fucker, they carry allsorts of diseases.

just try and put it where none of your pets will go or keep the room doors shut and pets out?

You can get non lethal mice traps, they are fairly common, mouse goes in cant get out, you take trap away from house and let it out.
If it is a rat (which I doubt) be VERY careful, I do some pest control at weekends (shooting) and have had some close call with rats, when cornered or wounded they wont run away they will run TOWARDS the threat and attack, I've seen cats and rabbits taken down easily by rats, which makes me doubt its a rat you have if the cats and rabbit are still un harmed.
My mate shot one in a farmers barn we were clearing, he didnt do a good enough job and it went for him big style he was bricking it, fortunately I hadnt let of a shot so was in a position to kill it before it got him, let him do a bit of running first though only fair seeing as he wounded it instead of killing it

had a mouse in our attic last winter which lasted 2 mins after i stuck down a trap with a big thorntons choccie on it litteraly shut the loft hatch and heard a bang as the trap snapped its head
