Should a standard cosworth 2wd engine be when doing a compression test? Mine all read the same but could do with a guide of what is good average or re-build

 

8 bar minimum is quoted in manual but 8 - 10bar is normal.

On a freshly rebuilt YB at 8-1 compression ratio i'd like to see 140-145psi

 

this is no way freshly built and has been getting serious abuse for the last 4 years of my right boot ,
And unless somthing gives up it wont be getting rebuilt as the car had over 7k thrown at it last year,so i will have to make do
if she dont get a new kitchen extension this time around i will be a tortured soul

no mate just wanting to up the power a bit and dont fancy having to mess the bottom end.
Will be getting it set up properly with the new mods and wanted to make sure that the compresion is ok ,and if Karl recons the >9 bar is middle of the road thats good for me
