Default Progress Report with new exhaust.

I know its not a Ford..but we have many Jap invaders here

So...i put on HKS filters,HKS downpipes,DeCat pipe,HKS silent Hi Power Exhaust and 1 bar boost..........So start up...not too noisey infact quiet quiet but a very deep growl ,up the road on warm up...nice quiet nice deep burble...fully warmed up......and on boost from 5000rpm upwards fooking noisey Like a fooking race car ...Drivability has changed dramatically,before foot down...and wait..then go...now go go go...no lag at all....Doesnt feel as exciting...but obviously alot quicker!!!Like going from a RD350LC to a RD350LC YPVS.......

So there you go...Stage 1,need to get set up...maybe re chip if it needs it but been told aslong as Optimax is used and dont hold it flat out in top gear(which i wouldnt do anyway!!) i should be fine.So circa 400bhp i guess now seeing as std they sposed to be 320bhp!!!!

HKS turbo's the T28 or something called like that 2 big fook off turbo's

Phil the only GTR ever to be " 320ish " was an R34

You wont have got 400 from those mods alone mate

Apperently not true...the R32 was infact sposed to been that Being the quickest aswell of all std..i wouldnt quibble Deano

Nah your right prob about 380 ish...Gary from GT Art apperently said it was cica 350 just running the 1 bar and std air box/cat.std exhaust.

Phil next on your list should be a good FMIC and a set of cams and verniers plus a set up .

Next its uprate the turbos from ceramic to steel or just fookin junk em for some HKS ones 2510s or 30s , Bigger injectors fuel pump which Im sure you could source equivalents

And that 550-600 will become a lot closer than you think

I plan to keep std turbos i am assuming they havent been modded to steel..not sure...new ECU keep std cams and intercooler with bigger injectors and uprated fuel pump....hopefully around 450bhp..then leave it until she blows then rebuild to the 600plus

Bearing in mind the std cooler is good for 650bhp (ie the GrpA cars) id not be in a major hurry to change it.

Get a gaybird charge temp sensor in it to see if it NEEDED first.

Injector wise, well they a totaly different shape (allegedly) to Bosche ones so duno if you can source any but tons of s/h uprated ones for sale.

Rest is easy...

Yes but Deano you reckon the later ones had 320 and 32's had 280...that surely would cancel out the weight issues

Steve yes i meant keep std intercooler its much thicker than the RS500 one!!

Phil its only press reports stating they had 320ish and to be fair it doesnt matter what your car WAS when it left the factory the point is with those mods you have now it will never see 400HP and at 1BAR those standard turbos wont last either

I have a few more mods on my car and i only think it has around 350bhp. I hope to upgrade my turbos to HKS GT-SS ones in the next few months, and maybe upgrade some other parts. I am looking at around 450bhp.
