Default Anyone here get a Dell discount?

A bit cheeky to ask ........ but if you never ask, you never know

Looking for a basic laptop with wifi and dvd/cd rewriter, 90 day return to base. Its on their web site for £399 all in, just trying to get it a bit cheaper if possible ...

Just call up, if they don't give it you cheaper, call again, you will get someone that didn't get his quota for the month, lol, he'll sell cheaper

Ring their business line, they have better deals, where you can buy a laptop without the "free" printer or other freebies that you actually have to pay for.

If you don't get the deal you want, let them simmer, they WILL call back, then ask for it to be cheaper.

I can't believe you're on the net and go go to www.dell.co.uk... for a telephone number

Anyway, 0870 152 4699 for home orders, 0870 907 4155 for small business

Check out the Dell outlet site

Although there are people who have set up businesses buying them off of there and selling them for profit on eBay! They have their own account managers and everything at Dell!

A friend of mine runs a forum about the Dell outlet bargains!

We buy dell at work, and the best we ever got was 2 or 3% iirc... not much margins in hardware these days, this is why they sell printers which need expensive consumables, but you know all about that

Every time I looked at the Dell outlet, I couldn't find anything that was actually cheap
