Right, I prefer the one room. My reasoning is I don't get a chance to just sit on here all day any more and short of occasionally popping into the Ladies Room I just bomb onto the General tab to see if anything is of interest. I know there are tons of rooms but I don't have the time to go through them and are probably of no interest to me (I may have a cossie, but am hardly technically minded

What difference has it actually made to you?
By your own admission, you used to miss the content of 45 rooms.. now theres 46... but the one you like to see regularly is now easier to navigate surely?
And if your not up for car chat, this new room is FAR better as it moves at less than a 1/3 the speed of teh old one.

I prefer the two rooms as I can wade through the crap if I have time to kill but other times I jump on and just want to view a through threads where I might have posted.
All I think would be a good idea is a link to Page 1 of the opposite General Discussion room so people can flick between them.
Sometimes I might only have 5 mins to jump on and also if I am at work I dont want thread titles containing bad language. Work are lenient but if someone complains then I would have to stop.

I liked the mix before, but to be honest I think this way will be better after getting used to it.
Must agree on the point of threads disappearing onto page 2 at busy times. That was a bit of an issue IMO.
