Don't forget they made a 120m loss too.
The pitch at Stamford Bridge is an absolute disgrace, my local village team has a better playing surface than that.
Any team in the PL & Championship leagues could win the premiership if Ł300m had been spent on players, you don't have to be Einstein to work that out. So it's nothing to celebrate, buying the league.

Why playing football and work hard for championship if you can just buy it
Just thinking back to the Gullit days and the Vialli days

With Chelsea buying the league championship, it won't ever change the fact, that they'll never get the same respect that Liverpool/Man U/Arsenal get.
Chelsea are totally lacking in history and have a mediocre trophy room compared to Liverpool/Man U/Arsenal who have earned their cups fairly & squarely over the years. So they will never be recognised as one of the 'great' clubs in the world... wasn't it 50 years that they went without winning the league? They haven't won the European Cup either. They will only be remembered for having a rich Russian as the owner.
They totally lack heritage and tbh I can't see them getting any.

ROFLMAO
IMO, Chelsea didn't buy the league, they were gifted with a wealthy owner, spent a lot of money on quality players, and got a good manager in to do the job.
If Arsene Wenger, Rafa Benetiz, or Sir Alex Fergusun had the same then fuck me they'd do the same
Arsenal's problem is they haven't replaced key players and are sinking their money into a new ground. Fergie's get new owners, which are sinking the club deeper into debt, and also isn't replacing key players, and Livepool's strike force is letting them down, Cisse isn't settling, Mourintes isn't doing what he did at Monaco.
Chelsea will win the league, Liverpool will finish 2nd, Man Utd at best can hope for 3rd spot, and Spurs realistically do have a chance for 4th.
You can say it'll be different next season till you're blue in the face, the talant Chelsea have got won them the trophy's

to be fair chelsea have a bought an awful lot of players but they have to gel and form a good team to win anything and with mourinho theyve got the best manager.
but what happens if abramovich gets bored and walks away. the club is still 100+ million in debt and to be honest they will have double the wage bill they would have had before he bought them. if he ever does just walk out it will make leeds' downfall look small.

i am a chelsea fan thro and thro, but honestly they havent bought the league!!!!
he tried it with ranieri, and it didnt work!!!
veron and crespo in the first year were wank!!!
he got a decent manager, sum new players and it worked well!!! remember, ranieri bought robben and cech, which were arguably our best two players last year aprt from terry n lampard!!!!!
they have tremendous team spirit there, and that is down to the manager and the coaching staff!!!!
yea we do have a massive list of stars on the bench, but mourinho has aslways sed he wanted a squad with two internationals in each position, and he has the money to do that!!!
i agree, the money has helped a great deal, but without team spirit u aint gna get anywhere!!!!!
