y u want one m8 cost u big money i have one in my wagon new id tacho cards come out in may no more paper disc just a id card

 

I need one bro because ill be towing up to 3 tons

are u allowed too tow 3 tonnes ?
i no now all new drivers cant drive nothing over 3 and a half tonnes (ie some long wheel base transits ) anything over that is a class 3 which is 7.5 tonnes i think lol only been driving wagons for 7 years

 

I got my liscence after 97

DVLA have told me that to tow over 3.5 tons i need to do an hrs test at a DSA centre

 

New drivers up to 3.5 ton only allowed,dont know if just anyone can fit tacho think tacho center got to do it then got to calibrate it and seal it.

 

it will cost u a lot of money m8 too fit
it runs of a lot of sensors and then fitted every 2 years u will have too have it calabrated by law

 

I will go to the main police station in cambridge tomorrow and ask, but if i need to have ill have to bite the bullet and get one

depends on what your use of towing is pal , if its for PLG, then you dont need a tacho, i tow a gross train of 5.5 tonnes and dont need tacho , but its for personal use - no reward or gain.
