Seriously now, I think the 108 is 80bhp, the 110 is 100bhp and the 112 is 120bhp.

150bhp ,!
Mines about 140 and wheelspins in 3 gears , its a fkin nightmare unless its loaded up ! Great fun for pissin off Sprinters at above 100 mph tho , lol.
mines a 108cdi , superchipped onto 112cdi +++ apparently . The engines are all the same its purely the management that differs.

i've got a 112cdi auto 90kw 300nm, quite nippy but yep you guessed it shit brakes. Merc have replaced brakes including discs 5 times now all done under warranty lucky enough and have now fitted after market pads! Back to post, i think the 112 is auto only and all the engines are the same size but the more powerful ones have a variable vane turbo as well as the engine management.

I have a metallic blue 110 CDI and my brakes are good however I did them myself and used Mintex pads and not Merc ones. It has been a good van to me which is a pity as I want a bigger van but I dont like the drive of Sprinters.

Christian is right the 108 is 80 bhp the 110 is actually 102 bhp and 112 is 120 bhp.

Graham

PS Mine is for sale as well

all merc commercial vehicles work in the same way

weight is the 1st number..... power is the second...

so a 108 is a 1ton 80 bhp

814 is a 8ton (well 7.5) with 140 bhp

by the time you get to the cabs your talking 2530 = 25 ton 300 bhp and the like lol

I think only the common rail CDI ones can be chipped. I may be wrong though.
