Default starting prob??

Any help appreciated,

My xr4i TT started to splutter and chug last week.I managed to get home but then it wouldnt start.
I knew the fuel pump wasnt the best so i changed it for a second hand one that i had .But the car wont start, seems to be priming ok,the fuel is getting through as the plugs where soaked.
Checked the relay, and it had a couple of dry joints so sorted that.
Cleaned the plugs ,let it dry out over night and still no good seems to want to start but wont get there????
running out of ideas other than another fuel pump maybe,if thats the problem??

if theres fuel AND a spark then it should start UNLESS the timing is out,,,,, check the bottom pully and see if its loose or any tabs come off it
