Battery or compressor?

Will only get used a handful of times at home. Ideally id like a battery one

I assume you mean an impact gun? I have the hitachi battery 24v one which is excellent, not cheap but is very affective. I suspect motorsport tools sell a cheaper but reasonable quality one.

I have one that runs off my compressor too but not very impressed with that.

I bet a corded one would be dirt cheap so buy the better ones....you are not paying for a battery and charger that way.

Presume you mean an impact driver? I've got a Makita 18v one which ive found to be pretty useful, I use it more for diy purposes. I'd probably look for a 24v version if you're going down the cordless route.

Defo not budget and no point for occasional use but I've got the snap on 1/2inch and also the 3/8 drive lithium battery guns. They are epic to say the least. Eye wateringly expensive mind 😭Impacter-photo66.jpg

I have a clarke one from machine mart, has 2 batteries and I use it all the time at work. I've dropped it, set it on fire and left it out in the rain all night and it's been fine. It's not as powerful as a snap on one but its about 1/10 of the price!

Mk Marc Kinsey has one for sale on Facebook. Send him a pm on here, he is the one with the Wrc fiesta, not MK Mark Walker
