As above pelase, im looking at purchasing this to learn a bit of welding and patch my car up a bit, what do you think

you really want to gas weld if your going to do it, it will penitrate better and look neater
140 amps is about all you will ever need as a hobby welder it will weld 8mm plate ok
fan cooled is also a good option as it will last longer
