Default Recommend me a good LED handheld worklight!

as above!

I need a good sturdy light for work and seeing as my work can't supply me a good quality light that will stay working for longer than 3 days at a time, I'm going to buy my own!

Can anyone recommend one to me? Must be cordless and rechargeable!

I usually use these

http://www.screwfix.com/p/ring-autom...ion-lamp/31920

Last quite a while and take quite a beating, EXACT same as the Blue Point and Sealey ones just different badge and price tag

Got a Snap On one atm think it cost me £45+VAT and its shite!
http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item....re&dir=catalog

Shop around for the light i posted, i'm almost certain on the leaflet Peoples brought in today they had the same light on offer at £12.99

Cheers mate.

The first one you listed apart from the colour looks absolutely identical to the ones I keep getting given and tbh, they are crap IMO. I've had 3 now and the longest that one has lasted has been a week and a half before it no longer worked anymore and it's not like I bash them around or anything!!

My one:

I'm getting fed up with having to use either the light on my iPhone (which IMO doesn't look professional when I have to) or use my lead light connected to my booster pack which is a pain with the lead and even more a pain when I need
to use it!!

I'll have a chat with my strap on dealer and see what he can offer!

Yep same one

What are you doing to them haha! All the ones i've had have lasted 5 or 6 months at least, some longer!

If its dropping them thats killing them then the Snap On might be the one for you, mines been dropped countless times from great heights, just bounces across the workshop and carrys on

All I'm doing is using them!!

I honestly don't know why they are so shite!! They just will not take a charge.

You plug it in and the little green light just comes on to say it's fully charged but it's as flat as a bastard pancake!! Same when plugged into the mains at home so I know it's not the chargers!

Before I used it, I let it charge overnight to make sure it was fully charged!

Bloody things!

Get a decent torch, some eneloop rechargeable batteries and a 1/2hr charger!

I used a 2xAA light for inspections, everyone that uses it is usually blown away after years of the same old crap workshop inspection lights!

I'm a bit of a flashaholic though

i've got one of these

http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/28104...var=sbar&cbt=y

not rechargable though but it's an excellent bit of kit, even got a magnetic base to stick it onto bits of bodywork and it's very very light

Gaz I have had this for 2 years and its mega. Rechargeable has led front and top and uv light' has a hook on it and a magnetic base and it bends in half, great for working under the. Car and just letting the magnet stick to the floor and u can swivel it into place,,, it's taken some right abuse as well
