Default Garage floor / surfaces, what have you got ?

As the title, what coatings, coverings do you have and how well does it work ?

I've just built a new garage and I want a easy to clean, dust free surface that won't wear as the car is driven in a out.

I've used cheaper garage floor paints in previous garages and its not lasted too long. Currently considering 2 part epoxys, rubber floor tiles or ceramic tiles.

Ideally want something not too expensive, but willing to pay the extra for something that will last

So any advice / recommendations ?

Heated floor with ceramic tiles. I often get a uncontrollable urge to just lie down on it.

Mate of mine put the rubber garage flooring down, was great until he jacked his car up and the jack went straight through!

I've a thick rubber matting down on mine. It's heavy and durable. Plus, when your under the car, or kneeling down to jack it up. Its ok on your joints.

I got mine off of ebay think it worked out around 400 pounds to do my garage. Since then they have been down for 2 years, in that time they have had a hard life but still come up fairly well with a good scrub. If you use your garage for storing a car there great if you use it for working on them then paints the better option.

That's a cracking garage mate! I've painted my floor with industrial stuff that BMW/specialist cars use on there workshop floors! When I move house i'l probably look into a similar flooring to yours as I love the neat look and black with White

I'm using a floor paint called flow-Crete 2 pack, you shoot the floor with small metal balls then use a big magnet to pick it up and also hover the area then lay a glue down wich then you spread sand on then once its gone off sweep and hover it then add your colour on top it's used in big car parks.
