i bought one of the 20kg drum types simular to the sealy-sb9...ht one. it is worth its weight in gold for blasting medium sized parts, you could blast a car with one, but it would take you about 3-4 days and about 2ton of dried sand. you would also need a large compressor. mine only just does it and it's a 3hp 12 cfm 150ltr comp. also the mess it makes. make sure the sand or grit you use is bone dry, any dampness blocks the blaster.

SandbLasters won't remove underseal or anything like that, the media just bounces off it

you have 3 options there

1 = waste of time there crap
2= waste of time
3 = ok ish if you have a big compressor , we have one but never use it

option 4 grinder and a good wire wheel is ur best bet
