i bought one of the 20kg drum types simular to the sealy-sb9...ht one. it is worth its weight in gold for blasting medium sized parts, you could blast a car with one, but it would take you about 3-4 days and about 2ton of dried sand. you would also need a large compressor. mine only just does it and it's a 3hp 12 cfm 150ltr comp. also the mess it makes. make sure the sand or grit you use is bone dry, any dampness blocks the blaster.
