Default MK4 XR3I Cab Will not run Help

Hello,

I dropped running engine i got off ebay in my cab, but the problem im having it will not start, there is no fuel getting to the injectors, fuel is getting to the fuel distributor but not any further. ive undo the bolts on the top of the fuel distributor and fuel pressures out. Turn over the car and nothing i have a good spark, i have done all the timing, there is no air leaks, The fuel pump is running, The thing that is getting me that it will start and run for about 2 - 3 mins then stop and then just turns over if i leave it for a bit and try start it again it will do the same run and stop. So any idea's people the help is much needed.

Thankyou

Quite confused now. First you tell us that there's no fuel @ injectors, but then you say the engine is running?

lol sorry, right the car will run for about 2 mins then stop, turns over ok but will not start again, there is fuel getting to the fuel dizzy, but if i crack a injector there is no fuel getting there. if i leave it for about 15 mins it will try start again just cloughs spits and farts. then goes back to just turning over.. so there you go, any idea's please.
