Default Anyone know how to take a wing mirror apart?

Can someone please tell me how to take apart a Sapphire Cos wing mirror?

Basically the one on my car needs the motor and glass replaced. I bought an old one of Ebay but the housing is rubbish so how would I go about swapping the motor and glass?

Thanks

on the 3 door (think their the same) there is a small slot underneath. use a small screwdriver to turn the plastic ting that holds the glass & its mount in place. once this is out(will still be attached by a wire) it will let u into the gubbins of it & u can swap the bits over
hope that helps

cant remember exactly how to get the back off but u need to be v careful not to fcuk it up with a screwdriver. if u turn the plactic cog (u will hear it click) the glass will fall out. then from the inside u can remove the cover without any damage

Put a small flat bladed screwdriver inside the slot on the bottom of the mirror.
The blade should engage with a slot. ( I had to shine a torch in to see it ).

Slide the screwdriver along and this then turns something inside that releases the mirror glass. ( still takes a bit of a tug )

You should then be able to see how the plastic cover of the mirror is secured and it comes off easy enough.
