4x4 sapphire cosworth cooling hose diagram
Hi all,
Does anybody have a good diagram of the 4x4 cooling system.
I've replaced most but there's some I can't see properly to identify.
Any help would be great.
Also replacing the metal water pipe at the front with a stainless item.

If I remember correctly the 2 hoses going to the oil modine are quite hard to see / get to with the engine all assembled. Much easier to get to when the inlet manifold was off.

Looking at it again and not really the best drawing. It shows where things are connected but is not showing the shape or routing of the hoses. The hose from the oil modine to the heater for example I think from memory turns 90 degs and runs along behind the head. I am at work and don't have the car with me, so cant go out to look. ( Not to mention its the middle of the night on this side of the world).

Hi David,
thanks for info on this. Yeah the diagrams a little off but gives an idea of the run.
It was actually the hose from the metal pipe on the o/s going up to #5 that I was struggling with.
Mines and original pipe but looks like a hand priming pump, swallon near the metal pipe but doesn't look distorted
as it has a ford logo on it.
As I work in lincoln I nipped into see Paul at roose and he sorted it for me.
new o/e Matt black being made to match the rest.

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
Hello.
Could anyone tell me, if there's any difference if I switch coolant hoses leading to the heater matrix?
I have a thermostate housing hose connected to the upper pipe and the lower is connected to the front pipe of oil modine cooler and the rear is connected to the rear of a head (just near the coolant sensor) Is it all proper?
Thanks
