Hi guys

Got a humming noise from the Diff in my 2WD saph when going 50MPH and accelerating (doesn't do it when I lift the throttle) It goes away and comes back at 100MPH again.
Sounds like the ring and pinion are gone. It's hard to find a 7,5" Diff here to swap but I can get my hands on a 7" 3,62 open diff.

Can I swap the ring and pinion from the Open 7" to my 7,5" LSD unit? Is it a "bolt on" job?

By a Granada Cosworth diff and change the flanges. They are alot cheaper and had a better life

 

The thing is that a have a reconditioned LSD that I don't want to change for something I don't know if it's working... That's why I'm trying to figure out if I can use a ring and pinion from another 7,5".
