Default Shark tooth or Lattice ??

While at work today I've seen a J reg 4x4 sapphire on Lattice alloys.

Now mines a May 92 J reg so I assumed it would of had Shark tooths from new??

I like both wheels so no real preference but just wondering when the lattice wheels stopped and Shark tooths started or was it an option for a period of time??

Cheers.

just found these on Google....

Back in the day j plates had lattice and k had sharks.
If you have a hooded dash binicle then it's sharks.
Later 4x4 had colour coded rear boot spoliers with no black on the edge.

I see.

I have the later dash in mine, with no seat belt indicator on the speedo.

Sorry, I ment speedo cluster as a hole unit....between the fuel and temp gauges in the middle the early units had a logo in white, later models didn't.
Later type (taken from google for ref....not sure what it is but has no icon in the middle)

early type with seat belt icon....

I'm sure you know what I mean but pics say it easier.

Ok, i spotted it early on when i was searching for a cossie.

A seller pointed it out as he's swapped the clocks.

Also the red lines on the rev counter...think the early clusters had them and later types don't.(or the other way round?)

4x4’s don’t have the number of liters (15, 30, 45 and 60) next to the fuel gauge, only the 2wd has that.

Never owned a 4x4 so I wouldn't have spotted that.

I knew there was another thing....

4x4 clocks

No numbers on fuel gauge
No seat belt icon inbetween fuel & temp
Red line on rev counter (6500-7000)
C under rev counter needle
