saphh 4x4 heater blower not working-aircon model
Evening folks the blower has stopped working on my saff, doesn't work at any speed. Fuse checks out okay, any other common issues? Thanks in advance ☺

there is a microswitch that kills the power to it when both the sliders are set to the bottom position, check this one to make sure it's not stuck, it's behind the dash binnacle though so you need to get the screwdrivers out
once you've got the cover off you will see 3 screws holding the controllers in place, unscrew all these and you should be able to pull the unit out and access the switch
the other problems these had was the blower dial itself packing up
and then there's the wiggle test on the wires for the blower motor

So it seems the actual motor has packed up, I'm guessing there are no longer available. Apart from buying a used one does anyone know if a repair service?

So i take it the motor on yours with it being the aircon model is totaly different from a standard heater motor?
My saff used to have an aftermarket air con system, fhis used the standard heater motor.

not on his car mate,it's going to be at least a 90 spec so you can turn them off

can you remove that?
i don't have a sierra handy otherwise i'd take a pic of the normal set up where you can quite easily spot the two nuts either side of the fan motor that anchor it into place
but you then mention that it's italian, and they have a 100% record in building cars with excellent wiring don't they

from the picture it looks like there is another cover over the top
can you remove that?

There must be a method to remove it but it’s indeed a Italian import so who knows
