Default widest tyre on the rear of a saff with 6 deg beam

any chance you can run wider tyres on the rear of a 2wd saff when using a 6 degree beam .i dont mind rolling the arches if needs be

Wi rolled arches and 17s I bet with the right offset you could squeeze a 235

My wheels fill the arches on 18s and I'd get 225 no bother

The only issue is when they squat hard they can catch the inner arch

jimbo what profile are you using 35 or 40 ?

Et 35 is about 5 mm further in than mine so you should be fine 225. I use 35 and will be going upto a 225/35 when these pirellis are dead

Yeah I know what you mean, they look a bit big on 18s a 235/40/17 is a nice tyre size for rear of saff.

that sounds good rod as i dont mind trimming the arches .

your on toyo,s too which tend to be wider still,i have been looking at federal rsr ,s?
