Lift pump wiring

Lift pump wiring
Just about to wire in my lift pump on my Cossie and was just wondering how people have wired theirs in.
I was going to wire it up by using a separate relay and wiring using the original trigger wire as per the way the MSD loom works but that means yet more electrical shit floating about that I didn't really want!! Lol!
Option 2 was to piggy back off the 044 in the boot (obviously with an inline fuse) but wasn't too sure about whether the MSD loom would handle the load of another fuel pump connected in to it (the lift pump apparently has a current draw rating of 3 amps so not huge).
Option 3 was just to connect the lift pump directly to the trigger wire (which is the original fuel pump wire) and just use that to power it as the only other thing that it's feeding is the relay for the MSD loom and I shouldn't think that'd be a problem due to the lowish current draw of the lift pump (I'm sure a standard pump would draw more than that!)
What you reckon folks?!!
