18s on a sapphire
Can I fit 18s on a saph without rolling all the arches? Looking to track her and 18"slicks are the cheapest

Ive got focus rs wheels on my saff with 215/35/18 tyres. There a bit close to the strut cup but apart from that there spot on.People modify the front shockers for a bit more room.

They would be very close, at ET35 i had to roll my saff front arches with 215 35 18s.
The slicks may also have quite a tall sidewall.

17s are not bad ET 35 with 215/40. been thru many different types over the years. My last cos was on focus rims looked good and was needed to cover the 350mm brakes but the ride was not that good.

Deffo drives like dog shit on 18's which is a shame. I get no enjoyment out of a car that looks good but doesn't feel right on the road, that's why I got RL7's, you can run 17's and still get decent brakes under them. Each to their own.

Mine runs on 18s, and I think it is just the same as running 17s, no knocks or bangs etc.
Front arches are rolled but rears are untouched.

Well I'm glad you boys are happy with your 18's, personally for me it felt far too crashy, bounced about at the slightest hint of a bump or pot hole and felt like it tram lined everywhere. Arches were never an issue for me, it was only the feel of the car, I was running 35 profiles btw and running konis so wasn't mental stiff suspension wise.

I think it depends on every individual sapphire if it runs on 18s ok.
The Nouveux Sapphire is fine on them, but the Rouse drove totally different.
Seeing as everyone is adding pictures......

All good too thanks.
Keep looking to buy another cossie to replace the moonstone one
The one on here keeps taking my interest (moonstone 3 door), or even Doo`s old one which is on ebay, who knows
Cant wait for the show season to start again and catch up with everybody again.
(even though its just finished)

You don't drive it Rod exactly, I've. Been to Mark's about 10 times in the last year and it's tucked away in the corner
