Default stage three bits fitted and now no spark.

Hi peeps,
I've got myself a bit stuck ...
I spent some time fitting stage three bits yesterday to my 2wd saph. (greens, 3bar map sensor, chip etc)

After I have done it all I couldn't get it to start, I checked and there is no spark coming from the coil.

I thought it could be the chip so I put the old one in, (I know it wouldn't run but it still should produce a spark -yes?) anyhows, still no spark..?

I cant help but think I've somehow shagged the ECU.
Unless I've disturbed some connections around the coil when I was fitting the map sensor..Although I did have a good check around and everything seems okay.

Any Ideas??

Arrghhh it must be the worst thing, getting all excited about the new bits and then it not bloody working at all.

Cheers,
Luke.

Is the fuel pump still priming when you switch the ignition on? What way round did you fit the chip. There is a notch in the chip which should match the notch in the ecu. Steve

Oops Only just noticed the reply, sorry mate.

It was the bloody immobiliser in the end.
When fitting the bits I had just disturbed some of the wiring.
