Are there any spools available for the 7.5" diff anymore?
As title really.
Quaife did make one, the QDF30Z, but it's not available anymore.
Do any other companies make em? Or anyone seen one for sale?
I know they were used on a lot of GrpA Aussie Touring Car RS500s, but they would've been 9" so irrelevant, but IIRC works 4x4 Saffs ran a spool rear and expect other race n rally Cossies did too, so maybe, just maybe, there some 7.5" spools available?
There certainly are 7.5" ones for various American Fords, but I don't think they're interchangeable.
Any info/advice much appreciated.
Cheers.

They are, and that is what I was going to do if can't get a spool.
But a spool is far lighter (and is unsprung, and rotating, mass, so as weight saving goes it's a good place to do it), and is pretty impossible to break (and I've killed a few welders in my time), so it would be great if could get one for a good price.
Spools for the US 7.5" diffs found in various fords are cheap and common, but I expect they're not the same as they're for the live axles in the back of Rangers and some Mustangs etc etc.
